About the wine
Sauvignon Blanc is a cross between Chenin Blanc and Traminer and originally comes from the French Loire Valley. The main growing areas are there and in New Zealand, but today it is one of the most common white varieties worldwide.

Tasting note
On the nose, fine exotic aromas, plus blackcurrants and a spicy touch of wood. On the palate, with a pleasantly warm texture due to the use of wood, and a long, salty finish from the chalky, rocky soil.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with puff pastry, grilled fish or seafood, mild curries
Vinification
Strict selection of grapes during the grape year and harvest. Vinification in barriques up to 5 years old. Stays on the whole yeast until the filling is done.
