About the wine
The slate, calcareous soils in Burgundy offer the winemaker from the French winery Joseph Drouhin everything he needs to live out his craft and produce a wine for discerning connoisseurs. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a dining experience when you serve this Pinot Noir with red meat or salmon.

Tasting note
On the nose, fine aromas of red cherries, raspberries, violets and a touch of spices and subtle wood. Elegant, juicy and precise on the palate, with a fine tannin structure, lovely freshness and mineral depth. The aftertaste is balanced, silky and typically Burgundian — subtle but with character and refinement.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with poultry dishes, veal fillet, rabbit in mustard sauce, mushroom risotto, grilled salmon or mild goat cheese. Also great with autumn cuisine or a quiche with leek and bacon.
Vinification
Selective manual harvesting, temperature-controlled mash fermentation with natural yeasts. The wine is traditionally aged in French oak barrels (partly new, partly used) to give the wine structure, depth and aging potential — without masking the delicate fruit. The philosophy of Joseph Drouhin is based on biodiversity and sustainable viticulture with high precision in the cellar.
