About the wine
Christmas 2021 is just around the corner! Make the most of it with this distinctive Negroamaro 2015 — Salento IGT Graticciaia! Fertile and sunny landscapes in Apulia give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Vallone conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you serve this Negroamaro with ravioli or venison goulash.
Tasting note
Dark purple color, ripe nose with harmonious aroma development on the palate. The wine is reminiscent of Amarone and has the same characteristic notes of dried fruit and vanilla. An elegant and complex wine with a wonderful finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with stewed or fried meat, including game and lamb, truffle dishes, chocolate.
Vinification
The hand-picked grape berries are laid out on straw mats to achieve a loss of liquid or a berry concentration. Vinification is followed by 12 months of barriques aging. A rarity harvested from vines over 80 years old.
