About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Rivera is absolutely proficient in his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and blooming countryside of Puglia. Tasting note
Ruby red with purple reflections. Ripe, red-fruit notes on the nose. Straightforward and honest, wonderfully uncomplicated. On the palate, on the other hand, fruity and well-structured, ripe tannins. Medium-long, strong finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with rustic stews or pasta, aubergine ribs (stuffed eggplant).
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at the end of September and beginning of October. The maceration takes six to seven days and takes place in steel tanks, the fermentation takes place for five to six days in cement tanks. After complete fermentation, the wine ages for twelve months in glass-lined cement tanks.
