Tasting note
On the nose, complex aromas of ripe dark berries, cherries, precious spices, cedarwood and fine roasted aromas. Full-bodied, powerful and structured on the palate, with velvety tannins, harmonious fruit-wood balance and a long, elegant finish. A characteristic riserva with depth and aging potential.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef stew, lamb with herbs, game dishes, aged mountain cheese or truffle dishes. Also ideal with hearty pasta, mushroom risotto or polenta with salsiccia.
Vinification
Traditional mash fermentation with temperature-controlled fermentation. It is then aged in French barriques to promote structure, aromatic depth and shelf life. The long aging process gives the wine elegance and finesse.
