About the wine
Fabian is a young, unconventional thinker who is not afraid to bend the rules and break new ground. He likes to present local, old grape varieties in a new light by turning them into complex yet precise cuvées. This together with his winemaker friends from all over Austria, who are among the best in the country. Such as the Gesellmann winery or the Nittnaus brothers. These friendships developed during joint training at the Higher Federal School of Viticulture and Fruit Growing in Austria.

Tasting note
It is juicy and full in the scent of cassis, blackberries and sour cherry. Creamy with well-built structure, finesse and length. It likes it even more when it is given time in the decanter for about 1.5 hours before consumption.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with game, ragouts and hearty sauce dishes. It is also a great brätle companion in summer.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand and selected again after harvesting. Only the very best grapes are further processed. The aging takes place in French oak barrels for 18 months. 50% of the barriques are made from new wood.
