Tasting note
Straw yellow. Fruity nose, white fruits, sweet spices, honeydew melon, some petrol. Dense and full on the palate, beautiful melting with well-integrated, lively acidity. A dry Riesling with a long, refreshing aftertaste. This Riesling from the “Grand Cru” Rosacker location will inspire Riesling lovers for many years to come.
Culinary recommendation
This Riesling goes well with seafood, sushi, white meats and dishes with Asian influences. Its freshness and minerality also complement well-aged cheeses.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand and gently pressed. Fermentation is temperature-controlled in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and typical aromas of Riesling. The wine is then aged on fine lees for several months, which gives it additional complexity and structure.
