Tasting note
The playful aromas of the Romitòro La Dogana Toscana Rosso IGT of blackberry, bread and jam express lots of character with a very unique structure. Next, the playful nuances of black currant and chocolate show their own character. A fruity red wine with a medium-bodied body and dominant acidity, which develops its lively structure in a balanced way with finely developed tannins on the tongue and on the palate.

Vinification
Selection of the best Syrah and Petit Verdot batches, 20-day fermentation and Malo in steel tanks, aging in cement tank; assemblage in December 2022 with further aging in cement until bottling in August 2023. Production only 6,000 bottles, exclusively for Gerstl wine selections.
