About the wine

A film producer, Reinhard Brundig, a winemaker, Marc Tempé, one realizes dream images, the other dreamlike wines the common dream: a winery, 2002, Minervois in Languedoc: Nature first, biodynamic management, old vineyards, excellent terroirs and higher altitudes at the foothills of La Montagne Noire. The success is great and to date the estate has grown to 30 ha, wines for heart and mind, favorite way, and since 2013 Brunnhilde Claux has been responsible for winemaking, harvesting earlier, completely dispensing with new wood, the wines have become fresher, finer, more elegant, the pure pleasure of wines that accompany you through life simply belong once you have tasted them, year after year and the The best are simply terrific.

Tasting note
Scandal? Seduction, style, but also provocative. Seductively soft, purple fruit, dark berries, even a touch of light fruit, orange, lots of creamy charm and style, but also passionate with joy and eccentricity, wild, bitterly dark and demanding, ash, vegetable freshness. On the palate, first sweet, silky elegance, purple, dark fruit, including blackberries, then increasingly crackling, sparkling, playfully provocative, irritating, flowers, peppery, dark, instead of scandal, then on for a long time with its beguiling elegant seasoning and stylish, charming fruit. Wonderful, hard to believe, a player who doesn't take himself too seriously and entertains with a lot of style.
Culinary recommendation
Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Roc du Pière harmoniert ausgezeichnet mit geröstetem Gemüse, Barbecue und Wild.
Vinification
Very selective harvesting and sorting by hand, brief extraction, whole grape fermentation with the vineyard's own yeasts in concrete vessels, tamped with the feet and pressed very gently, aging in very large wooden barrels, only minimal sulfurization before filling.
