About the wine

Enchanting and blooming landscapes in Veneto give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Azienda Agricola Maso Maroni conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Tasting note
Ruby red color with violet nuances; the scent is reminiscent of small fruits growing in undergrowth, cherries, perennial herbs with a touch of spice. In the mouth, it is soft and round, versatile and persistent in taste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with heavy main dishes, roasts, grilled red meat, medium-aged cheeses.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand at the end of September-beginning of October and transported to the winery in small boxes. The grapes are then gently pressed. The pressing process is gravitational. The must is stored in small fermentation stainless steel containers, where the must is pumped around and deleted every day during fermentation. Ripasso is obtained by fermenting the wine on Amarone pomace for a second time, which takes place in February of next year. As a result of this second fermentation, the wine has more body, structure, alcohol and bouquet. Barriques made from selected wood, in large wooden barrels and then in bottles.
