About the wine
The dominant Corvina 2008 — Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC is the missing piece of the puzzle on your wine rack. Enchanting and fertile landscapes in Veneto give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Rubinelli Vajol conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Tasting note
The result is strong ruby red Valpolicella with an intense fruit aroma of dried fruits and light spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is very harmonious with velvety tones, concentrated aromas of dark berries, dried fruits and a pleasant acid structure. A characterful yet elegant Valpolicella Superiore with a long-lasting finish.

Goes well with Italian cuisine, pasta, veal and beef, barbecues
Vinification
For Valpolicella Superiore, the selected berries are dried in a drying cellar for just over a month. This concentrates the aromas of the grapes. The subsequent maceration and fermentation process takes around 35 days at low temperatures. Finally, the wine is aged in large oak barrels for 12 months before being stored in the bottle again.
