Tasting note
Deep purple to the brim. Attractive cherry red color and high layer of wine. Fine notes of black plums, blueberries and raspberries, nutmeg, bushes and balsamic notes. Juicy, with vibrant acidity, enveloping and smooth passage through the mouth, balanced and persistent!
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with braised lamb, beef dishes, game, aged hard cheese or mushroom risotto. It is also an excellent choice for spicy vegetarian dishes with Mediterranean herbs.
Vinification
From the Tempranillo grape plots in the municipality of Laguardia, the winery selects those that stand out for their potential and high concentration. The vinification takes place in small stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and is then moved to French oak barrels for 15 months. The result is a modern wine in which the wood does not press on the fruit, resulting in a groundbreaking wine in Rioja Alavesa.
