The Power Bauer brothers from the Palatinate produce tasty, fresh and harmonious wines. They provide them with labels that are as cheeky as they are creative. On 29 hectares, the Emil Bauer & Söhne family winery in southern Palatinate mainly grows Burgundy varieties and Riesling. The traditional family business is now run by the fifth generation of the Bauer family, a duo of experts made up of brothers Alexander and Martin Bauer — one oenologist, the other marketing expert. Her father Norbert continues to contribute his many years of experience and work, so tradition and modernity are combined in harmony, which therefore had to lead to success! Gault & Millau rewards this with the first, well-deserved grape! In 2012, the estate set a big exclamation mark by winning the Riesling Championship of a major wine magazine in the “dry” category.
