Tasting note
Seduces with a bright, shiny yellow color. In the nose, a complex interplay of fresh citrus fruits, peaches and a hint of apple blossom unfolds. Subtle mineral notes and the typical Riesling petrol nose complement the aroma profile. On the palate, the wine is lively and fresh, with a fine residual sweetness that is perfectly balanced with the well-integrated acidity. The aftertaste is long and leaves a refreshing minerality.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with Asian dishes, poultry with fruit sauce, grilled fish or even hearty cheeses such as brie.
Vinification
The grapes come from the steep slopes of Felseneck, which are known for their particular minerality. They are picked by hand and gently pressed. Fermentation is temperature-controlled in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and fruitiness of the Riesling. After fermentation, the wine remains on the fine yeast, which gives it additional complexity.
