About the wine
A great wine from large vineyards — Roman Niewodniczanski's steepest slate estate covers around 75 hectares. These wines owe their dense, deep and silky texture to the vines that are up to 120 years old. A harmonious Riesling that is really fun.

Vinification
After manual harvesting, the selected grapes are gently pressed and then spontaneously fermented in large wooden barrels of 2,000, 4,000 and 6,000 liters. The aging takes place in stainless steel tanks for six to seven months. As a result of the long storage on fine yeast, the wine gains additional complexity and creaminess. The wine is bottled without fining agents. All Van Volxem wines are vegan. No fining agents or wine treatment agents are used that have animal ingredients or are of animal origin.
