About the wine

Tasting note
The Riesling is particularly “mineral” on the nose and with notes of yellow fruits of net melon and citrus fruits. Herbal nuances of mint and Mediterranean herbs also resonate. On the palate, it is powerful, complex, but at the same time very fine, with a subtle spiciness on the finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with wild fowl, veal and cheese.
Vinification
The grapes grew in the Michelsberg vineyard in Weyher, one of the most distinctive granite soils in the Palatinate. Golden-yellow, fully ripe grapes were harvested and fermented on the mash in a 1100 liter, massive granite stone barrel, the wine was fermented in it and then aged in it for 6 months.
