Tasting note
The grapes come from the eponymous location at 400-500 meters above sea level and are harvested by hand in small reading boxes. Pressing is carried out after a maximum maceration period of 24 hours. 70% is aged in steel tanks and 30% in large wooden barrels. The wine is bottled unfiltered. The nose reveals aromas of white currants, star fruit, crunchy apple and “golden kiwi”, with notes of dried linden blossoms, candied lemons and a touch of “cheesecake”. Fine sweetness extract on the palate, with a well-supporting acid structure and beautiful fruit.
Culinary recommendation
Great accompaniment to pasta or risotto with seafood, mussels with white wine and garlic herb broth or grilled sea bass on zucchini spaghetti with salted lemons. Also wonderful with asparagus dishes, such as fried green asparagus with shitake mushrooms and Serano strips or white asparagus with orange hollandaise.
