Tasting note
The Selección is a single-varietal Tempranillo from organically managed vineyards. The winemaking is carried out separately by soil in stainless steel and concrete tanks. Spontaneous fermentation takes about 14 days. Further aging takes place in 500-liter wooden barrels (70%) and concrete containers (30%). Despite the heat, especially in July, the La Aguilera vines benefited from old age and well-developed root systems. The Selección offers great expressiveness with notes of cherries, blackberries and vanilla, which are balanced by lively acidity and a spicy finish.
