Tasting note
The nose is floral and juicy and shows a dusty and complex body with juicy plum peel and spicy herbs. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied and, with 14% alcohol, offers juicy aromas of dark cherries with dried herbs and pink peppercorns before showing dusty flowers with fine-grained tannins and juicy acidity. The wine ends with a long, persistent, floral and spicy finish.
Culinary recommendation
Fits fantastically well with an oriental lamb tagine.
Vinification
Three clones are used for production, namely 174 and 99 (French) and 9 (Argentinean with a fruity character). Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. 35% new wood, 25% second filling, 25% third filling and 15% fourth filling. Two stitches during wood aging. Then bottling without filtering or fining. As a result, there may be deposits in the bottle.
