Wonderful and picturesque landscapes of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon) give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Valparaiso conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Tasting note
Brilliant and dark cherry red. Intense, complex and elegant notes of red and dark berries. The nose is mainly fruity, with cherries, red and black berries, but also vanilla. Full-bodied on the palate, powerfully elegant, complex with great fruit aromas Exquisite ripe tannins and a very long finish accompanied by balsamic and mineral notes, accompanied by licorice. A great wine. Limited edition with only 2,586 bottles
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef.
Vinification
Hand-picked grapes, transported in 10 kg. containers. These are handpicked once again. Mash fermentation and maceration in 500 liter wooden barrels. Then transferred to new French barriques for a total of 14 months, followed by residual aging in the bottle.
