Tasting note
The name “Querschnitt” says it all, as this substance represents Burgenland's diversity of grape varieties and soils like no other. Stefan Wellanschitz otherwise focuses more on the regional character, but this is about diversity. With moderate acidity and floral, fragrant aromas. Vinified and expanded without compromise. Two hours of mash with stems and stems, fermented spontaneously in 600l and 1200l barrels. The blend consists of young, partly recultivated plants. Unembellished, unfiltered, minimally sulphurized.
