About the wine
In spring 1993, the company Bellussi Spumanti was taken over by Paolo and Enrico Martellozzo. Father Paolo owned a company that produced table wines; he wanted to complete his career as a winemaker in an important DOC area and chose the area around Valdobbiadene, the most important production center for sparkling wine from Veneto. Together with his son Enrico (third generation of Martellozzo's), he wanted to focus on the quality and reviving a centuries-old history: the “bellussera”, a pruning technique that is still common in the Treviso region today and which was even invented by a Bellussi.

Tasting note
A fresh, fruity and light sparkling wine. Pale yellow. Quite intense perlage. Medium-bodied bouquet. Exotic fruit notes (lychee), some stone fruit (apricot) and pome fruit (quince). Slightly grassy note. Quite strong mousse on the palate, which lasts for a medium length. Slightly sweet touch. Overall, the structure is quite soft, of medium fullness and harmonious. The smell is again quite fruity, with a slight yeast note. Medium length abang.

Aperitif. Cold smoked fish. pate. tapas. terrines. Strawberry desserts.
