About the wine

In 2004, Dominik Huber and Eben Sadie started their Terroir al Limit project in Priory with the help of the Pérez family. Nothing else should be bottled but terroir, excellent locations, old vines, biodynamic management, spot fermentation, concrete and fuder instead of barrique. After only a few and also experimental years, Dominik has now explored the limits of the terroir more responsibly and implemented his vision. Terroir al Limit, these are beguiling wines, burgundy in the rock face, erotic black and white photographs, wines of exceptional elegance and mineral power. Very great wines!

Tasting note
Golden morning in the forest - warm morning light, the mild, bright, clear, red fruit, everything very calm, almost silent when night turns into day, soft and cool, it starts to smell, moist forest soil, a whiff of game, even licorice, getting warmer. Silent peace on the palate, everything still seems steamed from sweet dreams, reddish-brown fruit, weightless silence when the fog clears in the first rays of sunshine, moist forest soil, leaves, and the morning freshness, wild herbs, that is a gentle awakening, the delicate tannins, everything very natural, of a beguiling pure beauty, no dirt and no noise, no modernity and no technology, that is A precious moment full of peace and quiet for the new day. No wine can be more beautiful!
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Priorat DOCa Les Manyes passt bestens zu würzigen Gerichten, Gemüse und Burger mit Blauschimmelkäse.
Vinification
Very selective reading by hand. Whole grape fermentation with stems in vats of the vineyard's own yeasts, no pigeage, short maceration, aging and maturing for up to 24 months in large barrels (1200l). No fining or filtration.
