Tasting note
The nose shows complex, playful notes of peach, exotic and rose scents. On the palate, these come together with lively acidity and delicate petroleum notes. The wine, which is characterized by its stony soil of Taunus quartzite and slate, shows impressive elegance and great storage potential.
Culinary recommendation
A perfect accompaniment to salmon — whether grilled, smoked, steamed or simply marinated raw. A wonderful accompaniment to poultry dishes — from white meats such as chicken breast or dung scrapers to more intensive varieties such as turkey, quail and so on.
Vinification
The harvest took place from the end of September to mid-October. In order to obtain the fine fruit of the wine, a negative selection of unsuitable grapes was carried out. In the winery's press house, the grapes were then gently pressed and spontaneous fermentation took place. The longer storage of wine yeast and the predominant aging in large wooden barrels are clearly noticeable. The aroma of the wines is more intense, the taste is harmonious and pleasantly soft.
