About the wine
With experience and instinct, the winemaker from the Italian winery Tenute Rubino masters this red wine in the blooming and sunny countryside of Apulia. With the first-class Primitivo Salento IGT Punta Aquila, which was produced in 2011, you will definitely have a lot of fun.

Tasting note
The playful bouquet of black plum, apricot and anise skilfully flirts with your sense of smell. Next, playful nuances of raspberry, black cherry and blueberry will decisively and consciously convince your taste buds. With subdued, pleasantly developed tannins, a medium-strong body and distinctive acidity, this red wine presents its flawless texture.

Vinification
Fermentation is temperature-controlled at 22-24 °C in stainless steel tanks. Biological acid degradation is carried out completely. The maceration period is 15 days at a controlled temperature. The wine is then aged for 5 months in stainless steel tanks, 4 months in 40 hl French wood barrels and a further 4-6 months in the bottle.
