About the wine
With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Torleanzi masters this red wine in the blooming and fertile countryside of Apulia. With the distinctive red wine 2021 — Primitivo IGP, nuances and accents are redefined. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Primitivo with spicy hard cheese or red meat.
Tasting note
This Primitivo shines in a sparkling ruby red with purple reflections. On the nose, characteristic notes of blackcurrants, ripe plums, black cherries, blackberry jam and spicy notes of herbs and sweet tobacco inspire. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and harmonious with lots of black and dried fruit aromas, spicy accents of coffee and liquorice, velvety tannins and a long-lasting aftertaste of sweet fruit.

Goes well with hearty meat dishes, game, pasta, risotto, cheese
Vinification
Most of the Primitivo grapes come from old vines, which were grown in the traditional Alberello form. The vines are cultivated according to organic principles. After manual harvesting, the grapes are fermented in steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The expansion takes place exclusively in steel tanks.
