Pommard Premier Cru Les Chaponnières AOC 2021 - Maison Edouard Delaunay

Deep dark ruby red with garnet reflections and pronounced viscosity. The nose shows an intense, expressive bouquet with floral notes of rose and peony. Seductively sweet aromas then come to the fore, reminiscent of warm, vanilla cherry clafoutis and fruity berry puree. On the palate, there is a powerful yet fresh start with noticeable tension and structured tannins. Warm aromas of white chocolate, nougat and beeswax accompany the harmonious mouthfeel. The long, elegant finale is supported by fine spicy notes. The balanced acid structure ensures a high ripening potential.
