Tasting note
Cuvée Carmen, named after great-grandmother Jean-Pierre, comes from several small plots of land in the village of Pommard. The wine should reflect the village, says Jean Pierre in conversation. The Pommard Cuvée Carmen shows a classic sour cherry aroma paired with a little more tannic acid and structure than Volnay or Beaune have. A wine that is already nice to drink that shines with structure and earthiness and makes you want a second glass.
