About the wine
It is said that Maron, the king of Maroneia, gave Odysseus 12 amphoras of Pollios wine for his trip to Troy, which he used to make Polyphemus drunk. The Anatolikos winery is now daring to produce a dessert wine for the first time: The Pollios Oinos ripens exclusively in the sun, without any additives, and is characterized by its natural sweetness and intense aromas.

Tasting note
Rich and generous with black color and fine grenadine meniscus, earthy wet granite and charcoal complex with aromas of raisins, dried fig and plum fruit jam of cherry and sour cherry, pine honey, sweet walnut, carob, snuff and spices cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, cedar. Full mouthfeel, balanced sweetness, excellent structure and acidity. Long, complex and exuberant aftertaste.
Vinification
Fermentation of 15-17 days, long fermentation in an amphora of 100 days with local yeasts and aging of 48 months in small oak barrels without sulfurization. It is not subjected to any treatment and is not filtered.
