About the wine
The St. Stephen location is named after St. Stephen's Chapel, which formed the church center - albeit located outside - of the village of Asselheim from the 13th century to 1819.

Culinary recommendation
Goes well with braised meats such as boeuf bourguignon, with charcuterie. Can also be enjoyed all by yourself.
Vinification
Some vines are over 30 years old. The grapes are cut in half for better ventilation. Manual selection when harvesting, classic open fermentation on the mash with regular pouring in by hand or pestle. Aging for at least 12 months in new and mostly used French barriques.
