About the wine
Raissennaz is an old vineyard that was planted in 1974 and is the pride of the Cruchon family. This location has deep calcareous soil with iron and shows no erosion or compaction. Raissennaz is the pride of the Cruchon family and shows Pinot Noir from its most complex and beautiful side. The triad consists of limestone in the subsoil, then fine clay with a sandy texture and westward exposure with a cool climate.

Vinification
100% Pinot Noir which was fermented with spontaneous yeasts. Then there is a carbonic maceration of the whole grapes for 7 days followed by 5 days of maceration with the destemmed berries. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in oak fuder for 18 months.
