About the wine
The Pinot Noir Barrique from Aagne is a powerful yet elegant wine. The Gysel family gives this Pinot Noir depth and structure by aging it in barrique barrels. Notes of dark berries, fine spices and a subtle woody note combine to create a harmonious whole. A complex wine that takes time in the glass and then impresses with its fullness.

Tasting note
A rich ruby. Ripe berry fruit with aromas of trees and black cherries. Roast flavors and dark chocolate accompany the fruit aromas. The palate is well structured with fine-grained tannins, a fine acidity, rich with a persistent, soft finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with air-dried meat, beef, veal, lamb, game and grilled meat, etc
Vinification
Strong yield regulation, late harvest, maceration period before and after fermentation, temperature-controlled, intensive mash fermentation, with BSA (biological acid degradation), maturation in barrique from 1st to 3rd filling for 12-14 mt, subsequent filtration, filling after 20-22 mt. expansion.
