Treat yourself to the senses with the delicious Pinot Nero Mazon Riserva DOC from 2014! The winemaker from the Hofstätter winery greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside.

Tasting note
Intense ruby red with slight garnet reflections. Complex and elegant, characterized by aromas of wild berries such as currants and raspberries, accompanied by notes of ripe black cherry, undergrowth, light, sweet spices and a touch of vanilla that comes from aging in wood. Dry, harmonious and structured. On the palate, it is characterized by its fine and velvety tannin structure, with a pleasant freshness that balances the structure. The aftertaste is long and persistent, with spicy and earthy notes that add depth.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with sophisticated dishes such as roast game, roast duck, herb lamb and semi-hard cheeses. Also excellent with elaborate mushroom and truffle dishes.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand to select only the best grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, followed by aging in oak barrels for 12-18 months, which gives the wine a harmonious structure and spicy notes.
