Tasting note
Thanks to the altitude of 600 meters above sea level, paired with intensive solar radiation, the Pinot Bianco “Kristallberg” is multi-faceted with great minerality. With its bright straw yellow, the bouquet is reminiscent of fresh, green apples and white peaches. It reflects elegance and freshness, youthfulness and liveliness. Inviting, fine acidity with a smooth structure, delicate tannin and a harmoniously stimulating length on the finish.
Vinification
Gentle pressing, static clarification. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of around 20 °C. 15 percent of the must is fermented in French barriques and matures there for 5 months. Cuveting takes place in spring.
