About the wine
If we can offer something special for Easter 2019, it's this powerful Touriga Franca 2010 — Pingo De Lua Pinalta Douro DOC, wooden box. Sunny and blooming landscapes of the Douro Valley give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Pinalta Quinta da Covada conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Touriga Franca is excellent to serve with pasta or white meat.

Tasting note
A color like the Dark Side of the Moon with slight pink notes. Extremely condensed like the pop album by Waters, Gilmoure, Mason and Wright. Powerful, berry with sweet fruit notes, excellent with a rich mock from the grill - a wine that is otherwise only known from the Banyuls area. In this exceptionally dry year, the ancient vines drew their strength almost exclusively from the tears of the moon (morning dew). The alcoholic fermentation took place in Stein-Lagares, and the wine was then aged in barriques. Despite immense power, the wine is balanced, with a nice acid structure and is in no way alcoholic
