About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this present Tempranillo 2020 — Peña Real Roble DO. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Resalte masters this red wine in the beautiful and picturesque landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a dining experience when you serve this Tempranillo with red meat or lasagna.

Tasting note
The five months of aging in French and American oak make it a very pleasing, round and soft companion. Dark wild berries, some plum and a delicate touch of vanilla await you in the glass.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with spicy pasta dishes, dark meats and cheeses.
Vinification
Peña Real Roble is made from vineyards that are on average more than 15-20 years old. At this point, the vineyard itself begins to reduce its production naturally in order to increase its quality. Soils are selected that give us more elegance and strength both in aroma and on the palate. Ageing in barrels, most of them new, 60% French oak and the rest American oak, for at least 5 months, enhances the aromatic properties, maintaining a good balance between the fruity expression of Tempranillo and the roasted aromas and aromas of the oak.
