The winemaker from the Italian winery Umani Ronchi is absolutely proficient in his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and flourishing Marche countryside. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Cabernet Sauvignon can be served very well with ribeye steak or Gruyère burger.

Tasting note
Intense ruby red with garnet reflections. Wonderful, distinctive cassis notes appear on the nose. Plus blackberries, but also redberry roots, entwined with licorice and precious woods. Aromatic, complex and juicy palate, with fine-grained extract. The finish is long-lasting, with ripe wild berries and vanilla on the back. A complex, multi-layered wine, wonderfully precise, well-structured and with good storage potential.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef variations as well as grilled sole.
Vinification
Only the best batches are used for Umani Ronchi's top wine. Mash fermentation takes 15 days. The young wine then matures for 14 months in French Allier and Tronçais oak barriques and in the bottle for a further 12 months.
