About the wine
With the fine Pam de Nas from 2010, you will positively surprise your guests. You can describe the landscape in Catalonia with words such as barren. However, the Spanish winery Trossos del Priorat is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this red wine. We think he succeeded!

Tasting note
When viewed, it appears dark red. With medium intensity. In the nose, it results in a complex and intensive way. Lots of black fruit combined with spicy and balsamic notes. Mineral and herbaceous Mediterranean aromas such as thyme or rosemary. In the mouth, it is a delicate, mature, fresh and very pleasant wine. With a velvety crotch, as well as mild and elegant tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with legumes, (charcoal) grilled pork, red meat from the (charcoal) grill, roasted red meat, stewed, ragout, small game, big game, game (except poultry).
Vinification
Trossos del Priorat is a small, family winery that grows its vines according to the principles of organic farming. For this reason, the bodega is certified even though the wines it produces are not, as they use a small proportion of grapes that come from old, uncertified vines for production. Pam de Nas is a blend of the typical varieties of Priory: Grenache and Cariñena. The grapes come from our own fincas and from local farmers. Pam de Nas matures for twelve months in French oak barrels, which are 50% new and 50% are already one year old. As soon as maturation has begun, the wine is refined in the bottle for another 20 months.
