About the wine

Tasting note
In the glass, the Oniris Rosso shows a deep ruby red with purple reflections. The nose is characterized by clear, balanced notes of marasca cherry, red cherry and black currant. On the palate, it is fresh yet full of character, with juicy fruit, pleasant structure and a harmonious, accessible finish.

Vinification
The grapes for Oniris Rosso are carefully destemmed and gently pressed before fermentation begins at a controlled temperature between 24 and 28°C. The alcoholic fermentation takes around ten days and is accompanied by a further five days of macertation on the skins before the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation. It then matures in steel tanks for at least three months and rests in the bottle for at least another month before release.
