Oncedo Bierzo DO 2021 - Ribas del Cúa

Deep garnet red from edge to center. A fascinating mix of aromas of black wild berries, blueberries and nut pastries, complemented by balsamic notes of black pepper, cinnamon, autumn leaves and other pepper nuances. Fine spice and a touch of cool minerality round off the bouquet, with notes of granite, eucalyptus and candied violets. On the palate, there is an impressive richness and fruit intensity. The tannins are finely meshed and wonderfully integrated. The characteristic Bierzo minerality harmonizes with the exotic spice and the blue berry fruit right down to the long, charming finale.
