About the wine
After studying oenology in Milan, the two genuine and somewhat crazy Valtellinesi Davide Fasolini and Pierpaolo Di Franco founded the Dirupi winery in 2004. In order to realize their dream of the perfect Nebbiolo, the two 3-hectare vineyards in the steepest areas of Valtellina, which are divided into an incredible 18 plots of land. In the same year, they were able to launch their first vintage of 1600 bottles. Today, they produce around 35,000 bottles and are still absolute micro-producers.
Tasting note
The glass contains notes of cherries, red berries, some violets and rosewood as well as delicate spicy notes. On the palate, Nebbiolo is very fresh, juicy in the mouth and a lasting finish.

Vinification
In order to achieve the best expression of each vintage, it is harvested only when fully ripe without overripening. After 10 to 12 days of maceration, it is aged for six months in stainless steel tanks.
