Tasting note
Intense purple Notes of cherries and spices blend with the fascinating salty side of Corinto Nero grapes and create an enveloping olfactory complexity. Large shell structure that envelops and impresses, elegant and fine tannin, fresh acidity. Remarkable drinking pleasure, which is given by mineral persistence.

Vinification
Corinto Nero is an ancient grape variety of Greek origin that comes from the area of the town of the same name and was introduced to Sicily during the Hellenic colonization. This red wine is grown on Lipari (Aeolian Islands) on sandy volcanic soil in a bush-covered vineyard 350 m above sea level. Thanks to strong temperature fluctuations and the type of soil, it has excellent minerality. After a long maceration with whole grapes, which are not destemmed and pressed, the wine is malolactically fermented in wooden barrels for 8 months and then transferred to steel barrels.
