About the wine
Masseria del Feudo is a family business that primarily grows fruit, more specifically apricots and peaches. Only in the last two decades have their own grapes been vinified, and at the latest since the renowned oenologist Emiliano Falsini has been advising the Cucurullo family, Masseria del Feudo has worked its way up to the top tier of Sicilian viticulture.

Tasting note
The scent of this new wine is complex and expressive: aromas of red fruits such as pomegranate, cherry and raspberry are combined with floral notes of rose petals and a touch of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is balanced and elegant, with a medium body, fine acidity and present but well-integrated tannins. A wine full of character with a clear signature that impresses with its independence and style.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with medium-aged cheese, hearty stews — whether with meat or vegetarian — and pasta with aromatic, spicy sauces. A versatile companion for hearty cuisine.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully destemmed before fermenting in open stainless steel tanks with natural yeasts for 20 days at 24°C. The young wine is then aged for a whole year in oak barrels with a capacity of 25 hectoliters. It gets the final touch during a further six months of aging on the bottle.
