Tasting note
The aromas of anise express a lot of character with a very special structure. Next, the subtle nuances of roses and cherries reveal their own character. With dominant-rich tannins, a strong body and outstanding acidity, this fruity red wine shows its masterly structure.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team tip: Goes perfectly with pizza, truffle risotto and beef. Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The following period is the ideal enjoyment phase for this wine: 2-6 years after the harvest.
Vinification
Information on vinification: The temperature-controlled fermentation and subsequent maceration last a total of 8 to 10 days, with the pomace cap being pushed under daily. The wine is aged for 12 months, partly in Slavonian oak barrels and partly in French barriques. It then rests in the bottle for another 6 months before being released on the market.
