About the wine
Brovia is one of the best Barolo producers in Piedmont and cultivates large individual vineyards such as Villero, Rocche di Castiglione and Garblét Sue. These Nebbiolo plants are characterized by high quality, unique elegance, strong character and great ripening potential.
Tasting note
Medium ruby red. Black cherries, dried raspberries, herbal tea, licorice and allspice on the nose. Dry on the palate with ripe tannins and balanced acidity, which allow the wine to mature for a few more years. The long aftertaste shows cherry fruit and a slight spiciness.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Passt bestens zu Burrata, Rindfleisch und Pizza.
Vinification
After a short maceration period at around 28°C, the hand-picked grapes are fermented for about a week. The wine is then stored in stainless steel tanks for 30 months before being bottled and sold.
