With the special Munda Phoenix DOC Dão from 2018, you will positively surprise your friends. Sunny landscapes in Dão give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Quinta do Mondego conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience.

Tasting note
Very aromatic and spicy cuvée from Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro, Jaen and Baga. Dark-berry fruits that leave delicate caramelized nuances. On the palate, the phoenix is opulent with well-integrated wood aromas. The tannin is present and fine-grained, making it a great wine that leaves a strong impression.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, game, grill and Mediterranean cuisine.
Vinification
Maceration at low temperature for 24 hours and fermentation in small stainless steel tanks for 8 days at 25°C. 60% of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in 500-liter French oak barrels in 2nd and 3rd vintages. Subsequent aging takes place in the same barrels for 18 months.
