This strong Chardonnay 2005 — Montrachet Grand Cru Baron Thenard is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! This Chardonnay gets its power and energy from the loamy, calcareous soils in Burgundy. The winemaker from the French winery Remoissenet Père & fils turns it into a real treat with a lot of emotion. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Chardonnay is ideal to serve with poultry or asparagus.

Tasting note
Light golden yellow with greenish reflections. The best of the best, who rightly bears both the laurel wreath and the crown on his label. Breed and a wealth of aromas make it a wine hors catégorie! Aromas of fresh leaves, croutons, green and ripe apples, citrus fruits and subtly integrated oak flow into the nose and are confirmed on the palate. It looks fleshy, with well-integrated tannins and lively acidity.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team is recommended for poultry, goat cheese and truffles. Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the white wine is a slightly chilled 12°-14°C. The recommended enjoyment phase of this wine is in the following period: Storable and must not be allowed to age under any circumstances.
Vinification
Information on vinification: After the most gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. Extensive maturation in large oak barrels and in Burgundy pièces, the typical Burgundy wooden barrels of 228 l, is followed here, as with the other white wines from Remoissenet, by no return to the inox containers.
