Tasting note
Intense red with purple reflections. Aromas of wild rose, violet, fresh red fruits, graphite and licorice. The palate shows density and persistence, with elegant tannins that give the profile richness and spice. Long aftertaste with great freshness and mineral length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta, barbecues, aperitifs
Vinification
Fermentation and maceration for around three weeks in stainless steel tanks. Aging takes place for 16 months, partly in 25 hl Slavonian oak barrels, partly in barriques and tonneaux, both new and reused. Final refinement after blending: a few months in 25 hl Slavonian oak barrels and almost a year in the bottle.
