About the wine
The Indio is aged in barriques for 10 months and then matures in the bottle for at least 6 months. Since it is never filtered, it retains its dense ruby red color. On the palate, it remains full of strong tannins, which harmonize very well with the notes of plum, cherry and vanilla on the nose.
Tasting note
Strong garnet red. On the nose, a fruit explosion with fine roasted aromas. A strong berry fruit is accompanied by a fine spice. On the palate, tannins combine with strong fruit components and are accompanied by roasted aromas. The long, spicy aftertaste remains noticeable in the mouth for a long time.
Culinary recommendation
Steak in spicy sauce, hearty meat dishes, game, fresh cheeses.
Vinification
10 months in Allier oak barrels, no filtration. Ageing and refining: 6 months in bottle.
