Monk Stone Chenin Blanc 2023 - Stark-Condé

Bright lemon yellow — the nose shows a beguiling potpourri of aromas of citrus fruits, guavas, peaches and nectarines, quinces and ripe apples. There are also mineral notes of wet pebbles, cereal notes of porridge and spicy nuances of vanilla and ginger. On the palate, the fireworks continue immediately and there are roughly the same impressions, lots of multi-faceted fruit, spice and a hint of minerality. The magnificently ripe Chenin Blanc grapes from one of Stark-Condé's highest vineyards matured for 8 months in a combination of amphoras and oak barrels.
